9th ANNUAL TIM BRAUCH MEMORIAL CONTEST at the Tim Brauch Memorial skateboard park in Scotts Valley, Ca. This park is dedicated to an amazing skater and a very special human being. His life ended long before it should have, but due to the love and respect that so many others have for him, his spirit lives on through this annual World Cup event.

S3 SUPERGIRL JAM. Some of action sports top female athletes came together in San Diego to compete in the S3 Supergirl Jam.  The Supergirl Jam was on the final day of the three-day Action Sports World Tour (ASWT) event at the historic Belmont Park at Mission Beach. Team pro Holly skated in the demo and her clothing company, Sk8Grl made the event T-shirts.

SIMI VALLEY SKATELAB SUMMER SKATE CAMP Team pro, Holly Lyons was asked to come up to the Simi Valley Skate Lab for a Meet & Greet, where they were having a skate camp with about 65 kids and 6 were girls. She also had two Cool Girl’s Pro model skateboards that she raffled off for free.

August 11-13
The OREGON TRIFECTA. This is 3 contests, in 3 days, at 3 different skate parks in Oregon. It was crisscrossing craziness at it's best. Oregon is beautiful in the summer and the weather was great! Holly, Alize, and Briitney were all there representing Cool Girl Skateboards.

August 2-5
SUMMER X GAMES 13 in LA. This marks Holly's 5th consecutive X Games event. This year all the skaters were at the Home Depot Center, except the mega ramp was inside the Staples Center. And due to the Alliance, the prize purse was also larger than last years prize purse!

July 27-29
WORLD CUP SOUL BOWL/US OPEN OF SURFING contest at Huntington Beach, CA. The Soul Bowl is an 11ft. wooden vert bowl with a 13ft. extension, and a hip to air over. Team Pro Holly Lyons skated great with solid runs and inverts.

July 19
Athletes and Celebrities gather for the SUPERGIRL 'ACTIONISTA' LAUNCH PARTY. Team pro Holly Lyons and team member Alize Montes were on the Host Commitee for this awesome event put on by Warner Bros. Holly's clothing company Sk8Grl co-created a tank top and T-shirt design for the event. The Sk8Grl T-shirts were worn by many and were in every giveaway bag!

Marked the 3rd ANNUAL PRO TEC POOL PARTY at the Vans skateboard park in Orange, Ca. Our own Holly Lyons was honored at the Pro Tec Pool Party, along with Rune Glifberg, Steve Caballero, and Benji Galloway as the overall title winners for 2006.

October 7
This was the first ever 100% skateboarding KEEP-A-BREAST art show. Curated and photo documented by photographer Desiree Astorga. Holly was honored to be asked to have a cast along with Elissa Steamer, Jen O'Brien, Pink, Bam Margera and more.

It's called the OREGON TRIFECTA. This is a unique event because it's three contests, in three days, at three different skateboard parks in Oregon. It was crisscrossing craziness at it's best!

August 3-6
SUMMER X GAMES 12 in LA. This year the events were Skateboarding, BMX, Moto X, Surfing, and Rally Car racing. The only girls event that X Games had this year was skateboarding. Only 16 girls in the world were invited to skateboard at X Games. Holly was at the X Games competing for the 4th year in a row. It was also the largest prize purse to date for the girls!

July 27-30

May 13
Marked the 2nd ANNUAL PRO TEC POOL PARTY at the Vans skateboard park in Orange, Ca. This is a 13ft. huge round and square bowl, with lots of hips, a shallow end, and roll in that is also a channel. There were 3 divisions of skating: The Girls, the Masters (pro's from the 80's and 90's) and the Pro's of today. Last year's contest was intense with amazing skating, but this year the snaking and charging was off the hook!
